In early March 2023, the Spyker C8 Laviolette #029 was delivered to us for both cosmetic and technical enhancements. A comprehensive engine-out maintenance was performed, which included replacing the fuel pumps and filter, as well as refurbishing the steering rack. The maintenance also involved installing a new water pump, timing belt, and all auxiliary components. Given the car's destination in a warmer climate, the air conditioning system was serviced. The car's paint exhibited signs of wear, with spots of corrosion and scratches, prompting a complete exterior and interior repaint. Every nut and bolt were replaced during this process. With all parts removed, the tubes and other polished components were meticulously restored. The final touch included the addition of several options, such as a propeller steering wheel, LED taillights, and Bluetooth audio.
