Discover the intriguing story of our Spyker C8 Laviolette, forever tied to the opening scene of Basic Instinct 2 (2006) starring Sharon Stone. This car holds a unique history, having been submerged in the Thames for the film's dramatic sequence, where it played a role in a fictional murder. For the movie, Spyker provided four cars, including an underwater dummy and one specifically for regular scenes. This C8, the first limited edition by Spyker, boasts a jet black exterior, a vibrant red interior, and a brushed aluminum dashboard. Limited to just 25 units, it remains a distinctive piece of automotive history.
In November 2021, car #015 came to us for routine maintenance and a paint refresh. The owner later decided to add a cool touch – a new diffuser inspired by the Spyker C8 Aileron. After designing it in Auto CAD, we brought this stylish upgrade to life in February 2022, enhancing the car's appeal with a touch of modern flair.
